Hong Kong Fashion Week: The designs of MUSE and Mode Tapei (Runway Photos)
Hong Kong Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 showcase a number of talented designers. MUSE caught my eye with its use of sheer and iridescent fabrics. Mode Tapei had some very fun sportswear clothing as well as nice hat and scarf accessories. MUSE did a great job with using a dash of color light with geometric shapes, black, and neutral colors. These items could also be worn in the winter due to use of many neutral color tones. I fell in love with the look above. This feather necklace was the perfect contrast for the simple shift dress. I thought this particular look might be easily replicated with a little DIY effort. Take a peek at some of my favorite looks below.
This mauve sheer material looks great combined with black and square studding details on the shoulder and breast pockets…
This jailhouse blazer style was popularized by Rhianna but this is a more looser version than seen on most celebrities last season.
This drape top and necklace looks great with the neon tights however this top would also look great with shorts or leather pants.
The color palette is amazing here:
I am more of a fan of this top. I would have worn this with skinny pants/ tights/ or shorts.
This tye -top looks great and adds symmetry to any outfit!
I really liked the hat and the blazer together:
This top is amazing! I would have liked to see more variations of this on the runway ie a white version, a butter cup yellow dress in the same style with fringes around the neckline.
I thought these were the most stylish of their sportswear offerings. The zip up jackets were especially cute with spunky embroidery all over…
